Kiddush is a Hebrew spiritual blessing spoken over wine, ceremonially honoring and celebrating the Sabbath and Jewish holidays. Marilyn Davidson designed this special goblet to bring a sense of poise and beauty to the blessing. The rounded cup holding six ounces is elevated for contemplation atop a contemporary double-flared based, standing seven inches in height overall. Simple yet sophisticated, the same flared motif is found on other such pieces in our Judaica line as the Nambé menorah, bread knife, and Sabbath candlesticks, which combine to set a decorous table. Made of hand-polished Nambé Alloy, the Kiddush cup will never tarnish or crack, and also may be used to celebrate a wedding engagement or other special event.
